I was born in Hong Kong, and went to high school in London. In 2005-2009, I did my undergrad in mathematics at Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, then stayed for Part III. In 2009-2014, I did my PhD at Stanford University's Department of Mathematics under the supervision of Persi Diaconis. In 2014-2016, I did my postdoc in Montreal: I did my research at LaCIM and taught at McGill. Away from mathematics, I like seeing interactive exhibitions, trying unusual foods, watching dance, and playing DIVE (a prime number version of 2048) and Squardle (a square version of Wordle). I am face-blind and semi-lingual. |
